leading the day-to-day operations of the company. Before becoming CEO, Mr. Tchoryk served as Executive
Vice President and Director of Business Development. Some of the areas that he has cultivated while at
Michigan Aerospace include autonomous rendezvous and docking systems for on-orbit satellite servicing
and situational awareness; optical air data systems for stealth aircraft and weapon systems; and 3D
sensing and processing. He has over 19 years experience in developing and leading the development of
advanced technology, including optical, electro-optical and mechanical systems for satellite, aircraft
(fixed and rotary wing), and ship-based platforms, sensors for military and commercial applications,
as well as software systems development. Mr. Tchoryk has been involved in every aspect of the development
cycle, from conceptual design through implementation in the field. He has cross-functional experience
spanning domestic and international business development, strategic business planning and forecasting,
engineering operations, project management, and engineering development. Mr. Tchoryk received his Masters
in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan in 1994 and his Bachelors from GMI in 1986
and is currently working on a Masters in Economics.
